Four months!

On September 6, you turned four months old!!! I promise T-baby, we won't celebrate every month of your lif3 like this. Before long, we'll just announce the years passing. I don't want to think about that yet.

Anyway, as I wipe away my tears about you growing up, here's what happened during your FOURTH month!

You now weigh 13 pounds, and 14.5 ounces. You've doubled your birth weight!
You are 25 inches long! Basically as long as an alligator...

You smile more than you cry.
You grab things when you want them (and sometimes when you don't...)
You can stay awake for longer now, though you still take about 4 naps during the day and go to bed about 9 o'clock at night and typically sleep until 7 or 8 with one or two feedings during the night.
You eat every three hours. Or else!

You "recognize" unfamiliar faces now. You stare at them until you learn them then smile like crazy. You watch people when they talk.

You don't like it at all when you pull something over your face, like a blanket.

Your favorite song is "Do Your Ears Hang Low."

You watch Giselle when she walks in the house.

You would rather stand or be up moving about than cuddling or laying. You do enjoy your swing more now though (thank goodness).

You got to go swimming! We sometimes bathe you in the big bathtub now with Mommy or Daddy. Otherwise, you get to hang out in your little bath tub. Too big for the sink!

You are such a joy, Thomas.

First concert! Such a hipster.

A little bonding play time with Giselle.

Holding your head up and cooling down.

First time in the pool!

Listening to your daddy read you Narnia.
